We built Artspotter for those who love street art and urban creativity. The site was created with the purpose of showcasing murals and vibrant graffiti of cities around Europe against a clean and simple platform, allowing users to explore and interact with urban art. Our aim is to introduce the stories and artists behind these pieces, creating an easy-to-navigate site that brings street art lovers closer to the art they seek.
(MY APPROACAH)
We worked on delivering a visually immersive experience that conveys the energy of street art. Our approach combined dynamic visuals with ease-of-use features, ensuring that the site is exciting but accessible. Every design decision, from color palettes to typography, was chosen with the intent to enhance the user’s journey yet still staying raw and artistic with the nature of street art.
(VISION & INNOVATION)
Our vision was to create a digital space that would mirror the vibrancy and energy of street art. Equipped with the latest design tools and technologies, we wanted to bring into being a platform that would be fresh, interactive, and visually grabbing in its essence, reflecting the dynamic world of urban murals and graffiti. The site was designed to feel like a curated gallery, allowing users to easily explore and appreciate the art.
(CHALLENGES)
The challenge was to organize this huge amount of content into a cohesive, visually grabbing site. We had to make the art pieces vibrant but not overwhelming for the users of the site. Balancing aesthetics with functionality, we concentrated on a simple layout that draws attention to the artwork and provides smooth navigation.
(PROBLEMS)
Such problems we had to solve were in high-resolution images: load fast and not slow down the user experience, responsive across multiple devices that ensured users could enjoy content on any screen size without quality or ease of use.
(USER-CENTRIC DESIGN)
Right at the top of the list was user experience. We designed the site to be intuitive and easy to navigate so that visitors could easily browse different cities and art pieces. Each feature was designed to lead users on a fun, seamless journey that reflects the exploratory nature of street art itself.
(USER NEEDS)
We designed Artspotter keeping in mind the needs of street art lovers. It has a simple yet visually striking design, full of engaging content. We worked hard to make it easily possible for the discovery of new street art, so that it could be a one-stop resource for anyone delving into this dynamic world of urban creativity.
